It takes incredible humility for someone to own up and announce publicly to the world that they have messed up.Not many of us like to be proven wrong. One of the biggest traps in the human experience is righteousness. We seem to have a right-to-be-right about a lot of things; and this can often put us in a very dangerous place. When we seek to be right about everything, we miss out on two important life lessons: 1. We become stubborn as we fail to understand that another point of view outside our own may also exist and be equally right. 2. We fail to take responsibility for all the wrong that's going on around us. If the government, medical authorities and food corporations claim to...

If the promise of delivering maximum taste minus the calories is too good to be true, it may in fact be. Found in products such as NutraSweet, Equal and many diet sodas, aspartame is the most commonly used form of artificial sweetener. Discovered in 1965, this additive was rejected multiple times over with massive conflict of interest. After some carefully manipulated research, the FDA eventually approved aspartame for human consumption in 1983. The chemical molecule of aspartame is made up of three components: 50 percent phenylalanine, 40 percent aspartic acid and 10 percent methyl ester. When the body breaks down aspartame, the methyl ester portion is converted into methanol (wood alcohol), which is a toxin to...
When a product tastes sweet without sugar added, be aware.
To lose unwanted body fat, it is imperative that you obtain an optimal hormonal profile. One of the most important hormones to manage is that of testosterone, the chief anabolic hormone. Much of our testosterone is converted into dehydrotestosterone (DHT) which takes place in the skin. It occurs in the sebaceous glands of the skin, which are a particular gland that produce sebum, an oily like matter that keeps the skin and hair follicles lubricated. For this very reason, one side effect for those who experiment with exogenous testosterone (steroids) is oily skin and acne. All of the testosterone conversion is happening right there within the layers of the skin. Vitamin D has a huge impact on testosterone levels because it too is converted in...
Don't fall victim to FOMO, an acronym for Fear Of Missing Out. Many people set themselves up for drastic change, till it all comes crumbling down. They embark on a new lifestyle and somewhere along the way, they trip up because of FOMO.
If you have made a decision to change and then begin experiencing FOMO, you need to ask yourself this question:
"What exactly am I fearing to miss out on here?"
Look at the conventional ways of mankind and see how things really are. Many have been misguided and as a result are unhealthy, financially broke, emotionally traumatised and spiritually disconnected.
In the early 1900's, most Americans usually ate a hearty protein and fat breakfast, typically in the form of sausages and eggs or bacon and eggs. The shift came about through Will Keith Kellogg, who was a seventh-day adventist and did not practice the eating of animal products. He came up with other ways for seventh-day adventists to stay away from meat, hence introducing the very successful Kellogg's Corn Flakes in 1922.
At that time, General Kellogg was very influential in the US Government and caused a lot of people to start eating Corn Flakes and other forms of carbohydrates for breakfast. The rest of the country soon got on board with this practise, none of which was based...
Everybody has a reason to why they have reached their current circumstances. Reasons produce results, yet not all results are conducive to our true potential.
When we try to justify our "failures" in life, we use reasons (excuses, for a better word) in an unresourceful manner. A hoarder will always have a reason as to why they keep collecting clutter. An emotional eater has a reason as to why they eat their feelings away. An alcoholic has a reason as to why they consume beer for breakfast. Someone who is financially broke, has a reason as to why their bank account echoes.
When we use reasons to give us the drive to "succeed", we are applying them resourcefully. They become...
