We need to get rid of what we don’t want, to make room for what we do want.
Old ways will not open up new doors. Destructive habits that have brought us to where we are, must be replaced with productive habits that can take us to where we choose to be.
Our current thinking has brought about our current circumstances. Now, we are going to have to rely on our current thinking to change our current circumstances – we can’t.
Bruce Lee said – “The usefulness of the cup, is its emptiness.”
If our cup is filled with our stubborn ways, there is no more room to grow. We must be willing to empty what is no longer serving us, in order to make room for that which will.
Lao Tzu said – “When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be.”
In order for change to be made manifest, we must get rid of the old to make room for the new.
Otherwise if nothing changes, nothing changes.
