The weakest link

If you treat the symptom of a disease and not the cause, you are one of the statistics.

The body is a kinetic chain and a chain is only as strong as its weakest link.

When you expose the body to too much inflammation, through years and years of poor lifestyle habits, you begin to pull the chain at both ends.

Where the chain snaps is where your weakest genetic link lies.

The problem with pharmaceutical drugs is they treat the symptom, not the cause.

They go to work on where the link has been dismantled, without addressing what was pulling on the chain.

Here’s an example to illustrate:

Giving someone a thyroid drug does not address what’s causing the issue for the thyroid in the first place.

Very few people know that the thyroid gland is known as the canary in the coal mine.

It is a very sensitive gland and usually the first area in the body to be affected, during early stages of auto-immune disease.

What’s triggered the body’s immune system?

• Eating inflammatory foods leads to
• Gut permeability which leads to
• Leaky gut syndrome which leads to
• Auto-immune disease which leads to

• A cascade effect of damage, including that of the thyroid.

Yet the problem was not at the thyroid, that’s simply where the weakest link was, based on one’s genetic predisposition.

For some it might be the brain, the skin, the joints, the liver or any other part of the body.

Nonetheless, the message here is that pharmaceutical drugs do not address the cause of the problem, they only treat the symptom.

The cause of the problem lies from the neck up.

All disease starts at the mouth.

Great post. 100% true. The cause is actually higher up. In the brain that is programmed for short term gratification
